Deon L Sanders
Director of Clinical Services
My name is Deon L Sanders, and I am a Licensed Psychotherapist residing in the state of Georgia. I am also the Owner/CEO of Seek Wise Counsel and The Sanders Center for Recovery & Mental Wellness. My staff and I specialize in African American psychology, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) Psychodynamic Therapy, Existential, DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), Schema Therapy, Gestalt, Trauma Focused CBT and IFS. My specific training and education in African American Psychology has provided me knowledge, research, and a deeper subconscious understanding of how the residual effects of slavery, and religious trauma hinders African American families, relationship building, thoughts and feelings to help communities and people of color heal. I have 18 years of experience providing Individual, Couples, Marriage, Family and Group Therapy.

Angela Hammond
Director of Clinical Supervision
Angela Hammond has been a Licensed Professional Counselor(LPC) since 2014. She
is also a Certified Professional Clinical Supervisor (CPCS) who has a passion for
mentoring and guiding therapists on their journey to licensure. Angela appreciates
diverse perspectives and experiences and enjoys working with BIPOC individuals
(Black, Indigenous, and People of Color). Her areas of clinical support include emotional
regulation, navigating life transitions, and nurturing healthy relationships.
Central to Angela's therapeutic philosophy is the principle of meeting individuals where they are on their journey to healing. She considers empowering others to identify their intrinsic
strengths essential to creating positive change and holistic well-being.
Angela enjoys international travel, tap dancing, and live concerts.

Lamarr Lewis
Asst. Director of Marketing & Clinical Services
Lamarr Lewis is a trauma-informed therapist whose practice is grounded in compassion, cultural humility, and adaptability to each client’s unique story. He specializes in sex therapy with a focus on men’s sexual health and addiction, as well as anger management, conflict resolution, and relational wellness.

With over twenty years of experience as a therapist, trainer, and human services professional, Lamarr approaches therapy as a collaborative process—meeting clients where they are and helping them develop the insight, emotional awareness, and tools needed to create lasting change. Tapping into his natural creativity and innovation, he often crafts specialized interventions, in session with his clients, to ensure a personal touch to care.

His work integrates evidence-based methods with narrative and holistic techniques to support growth, healing, and personal accountability. Lamarr’s philosophy centers on the belief that everyone has the capacity to heal when seen through a lens of safety, respect, and authenticity. He helps clients navigate the intersections of trauma, identity, and intimacy—empowering them to rebuild trust with themselves and others.

Tricia Lopez
Asst. Director of Utilization & Clinical Services
​I am an associate level Professional Counselor that is a Certified Trauma Professional (CTP) as well as National Board Certification (NCC). I am passionate about working with adults, young adults and couples of diverse backgrounds and cultures with an authentic, individualized approach based on a spirit of mutuality.​
I am a LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist and strongly believe that every person has the capacity to be the expert of their life and chosen path. My goal is to walk with you on this path and provide a safe space to discover your true potential.​
I am experienced in working with people suffering with depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma, navigating obstacles in their life path, grief and those who find themselves struggling to re-define their self identity.​
My approach is considered integrative because I feel strongly that there is not one set approach that will support each and every individual.
Seek Wise Counsel is community based non profit using cultural
specific workshops, retreats, groups, community based events to provide counseling, therapy and life coaching services to communities of color.
